Dub Definition

 «Dub besteht in erster Linie aus Drums und Bass. Um dieses Grundgerüst entstehen die Tracks, welche zumindest traditionell Variationen einzelner Riddims waren, welche wiederum das Grundgerüst eines jeden Reggaesongs bildeten. Je nach Produzent sind Echos, Gesangselemente oder Melodiefragmente zusätzliche Bestandteil, die zusammen mit dem repetivien Moment eine eigenständige, sich stark vom origingalen Song unterscheidende Version entstehen lässt.»
