«Musikalisch war ich ziemlich begeistert von vielen Punk Bands, wie Dead Kennedys, Devo, Chrome und den Sex Pistols. Mit der Szene sonst konnte ich aber nach ein paar Jahren nicht mehr soviel anfangen. Ich hatte mit den unterschiedlichsten Leuten zu tun und doch war mir die Punkszene zu eingeschränkt, deshalb war ich nicht lange Teil davon. Ich habe mich mich schon immer für unterschiedlichste Musik und Szenen interessiert und hab früh realisiert, dass ich nicht gerne nur bei einer Szene dazu gehöre. Punk als Haltung und Idee und weniger als Modetrend oder Identifikation, stand ich immer sehr positiv gegenüber.»
