«Deetron entdeckte ich so im Jahre 1998 durch seine 12" auf Compost als Procreation. Die Scheibe war damals sehr futuristisch und hat mich weggehauen. Ich kannte aber seinen Namen schon länger durch seine Gigs in Zürich.»

«Das Echo 106 auf Mathematics releast ist grossartig! Es zeigt wie unsere globale Gesellschaft funktioniert und wie spannend es für Amerikaner ist, Musik aus Europa zu entdecken und auch zu releasen. Juan Atkins hatte mir bei seinen Besuchen in der Dachkantine und der Zukunft immer wieder davon erzählt, wie angetan und inspiriert er in den 80ern von Acts aus Europa war. "It felt like the future", meinte er einmal schlicht und ergreifend. Ähnliches haben mir auch Derrick, Carl und andere Bekannte aus Detroit erzählt.»
